Holbein Professional Purified Linseed Oil

The traditional choice for thinning oil paints and creating a natural lustre linseed oil is extracted from the flax plant. Smooth and thin this oil medium will thin out your oil paint while maintaining its creamy consistency and not break down the pigment like solvent tend to do. Mix with turpentine or solvents to adjust the viscosity. Linseed oil tends to leave a layer of residue when dry which can creating yellowing over time which can be combated by applying varnishes.
