Built to be light and allow your oil paintings to breathe. Retouching varnish can be applied as a temporary varnish to protect your oil paintings and create a glossy finish. Not as heavy as other picture varnishes this retouch varnish will protect your curing oil paintings from dust and debris to allow for a clean curing period. 

Once a painting has dried completely you can apply a heavier picture varnish to seal it.
