MTN Hardcore 400ml

MTN Hardcore is one of Montana Colors’ most recognized aerosol paint systems and has been a staple in the graffiti world since its introduction in 1996. Its formulation combines quick-drying alkyd resins with high-quality pigments to deliver strong coverage, vibrant colour, and a durable gloss finish. 

The high-pressure system provides a consistent output from beginning to end, making it suitable for everything from large fills and murals to sign painting and creative projects. Artists can achieve line widths ranging from approximately 2 cm with a Pro Cap to approximately 15 cm using a Hardcore Fat Cap, depending on technique and cap selection.

Shake the aerosol vigorously for approximately one minute after hearing the mixing ball. Proper mixing helps ensure consistent pigment distribution and even coverage. 

Apply to clean, dry surfaces. For rusty metal, remove corrosion with a wire brush and use an anti-rust primer if required; plastics and polyester surfaces may benefit from an adhesion-promoting anchor coat. 

For best performance, apply several thin coats rather than one heavy coat. Additional coats may be applied within the recommended recoat window of 15 minutes to 2 hours. 

After spraying, invert the can and spray briefly until only propellant is released. This helps clear the valve and reduces the risk of clogging.

Store in a cool, dry environment. During Ottawa winters, allow the can to gradually acclimate to room temperature before use, as cold temperatures can affect spray pressure and application consistency.

Ventilation: Always use in well-ventilated areas. Never spray onto equipment that is plugged in or energized.

PPE Recommendation: Gloves, eye protection, and appropriate respiratory protection may be beneficial during extended spraying sessions.

Flammability: Aerosol products contain pressurized propellants and should be kept away from sparks, open flames, and heat sources.
