MTN WEPRO Universal Primer is a white bonding primer formulated for surfaces that are traditionally difficult to paint. It creates a reliable bridge between non-absorbent materials and subsequent paint layers, helping improve adhesion while reducing the risk of peeling or poor coverage.

Unlike many surface-specific primers, this versatile formula can be used across a broad range of materials including metals, ceramics, glass, tiles, methacrylate, melamine, polyester, and polyurethane. Its anticorrosive properties also make it useful for projects where rust protection is important.

The fast-drying formula allows efficient workflow between preparation and finishing stages. It can also function as a white finishing coat and may be enamelled or varnished after curing.

This primer is particularly useful for mixed-media projects, furniture refinishing, decorative objects, DIY applications, metal fabrication, maintenance work, and creative surface transformations. It is less suitable for anodised aluminium, where alternative preparation methods may be required.

[+] Studio Guide: How to Use & Store (Click to Expand)

Shake the can thoroughly for approximately one minute after hearing the mixing ball. Apply only to clean, dry, and degreased surfaces for optimal adhesion.

For rusty metal surfaces, remove corrosion with a wire brush before priming. Multiple thin coats produce better results than a single heavy coat.

The primer may be recoated with itself after approximately 10 minutes. When using other finishing paints, apply within 30 minutes to 2 hours, or wait at least 36 hours before recoating.

For surfaces primed more than three days earlier, lightly sanding before applying additional coatings can improve adhesion.

Store in a cool, dry location away from excessive heat. Product shelf life is approximately five years when stored correctly.

During Canadian winter shipping, allow the aerosol to return to room temperature before use. Avoid exposing the can to freezing conditions or temperatures above recommended storage limits.

Safety Information: Use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not spray on equipment connected to electrical mains.

Aerosol Precautions: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required by your workspace or project. Keep away from heat sources and open flames.
