Pébéo Setacolor Opaque Shimmer 45 ml
Setacolor Opaque paints work their magic on any prewashed fabric you throw at them—cotton, wool, mesh, jersey, velvet, jacquard knit, polyester, blends, and yes, even leather!
Use them straight from the bottle or mix with water for a fun watercolor vibe. Their creamy texture is perfect for all kinds of fabric art—whether you’re brushing, dripping, stamping, or stenciling with silkscreens!
When used with Setacolor auxiliaries additional effects can be obtained to multiply the techniques.
For airbrush use, make a first mixture 50% water / 50% Setacolor lightening medium (ref 391014) which will serve as a dilution base. Then, make a second mixture with the chosen colour, 50% Setacolor Opaque paint / 50% of the first mixture for airbrushing.
To fix the Setacolor colours, iron the reverse side of the decorated fabric for 5 minutes on cotton position with no steam. It is also possible to put the fabrics in the kitchen oven. After 5 minutes at 150°C (300°F) the colours are fixed. Once fixed, the colours resist machine washing.
